Do you need a rental car in Las Vegas?
Renting a car in Las Vegas not only offers you the freedom to explore the city and its surrounding areas at your own pace, but it’s also often cheaper than Uber or taxi services. While the Las Vegas Strip and Fremont Street are popular destinations, having a rental car enables you to adventure beyond the main tourist areas. You can explore nearby attractions like Red Rock Canyon, take scenic drives to Hoover Dam or Lake Mead, and even explore the natural wonders of the Grand Canyon.
Will United Nissan pick me up from the airport?
Yes! We can typically accommodate pick-up requests with a 7-day prior notice. Please note this is subject to change.
How close is United Nissan to the Strip?
United Nissan is approximately 6 miles away from the Las Vegas Strip, which translates to a quick 15-minute drive.
How close is United Nissan to Fremont Street?

Can I return my vehicle if United Nissan is closed?
Yes, rental vehicles can be returned during closed hours, Monday through Saturday. Drop-offs are not permitted on Sundays.
Do you offer any discounts?

Are there additional fees for drivers under 26?
We do not charge additional fees for drivers under the age of 26.
Policy
What do I need to rent a car?
To rent a car from United Nissan, you must meet these criteria: Be at least 21 years old, hold full coverage auto insurance, and possess a current and valid driver's license. When arriving for pickup, please ensure you have your driver's license, proof of insurance, and a valid credit or debit card. Local renters should provide a utility bill that matches their driver's license. For out-of-state renters, we require proof of a round-trip flight that aligns with the rental dates.
What is the mileage policy? Does United Nissan offer unlimited miles?
Our rental policy includes a daily mileage limit of 75 miles per day. However, you can opt for unlimited mileage for an additional $5 per day. (Certain models like the Pathfinder and Armada are excluded with a limit of 75 miles a day and $0.30 per mile charged for miles accrued after.)
I am under 21. Can I rent a car?
We do not offer rental vehicles to drivers under the minimum age of 21.
Is personal auto insurance required when renting a car?
Yes, full-coverage auto insurance is required to rent a vehicle. We recommend checking with your insurance company to see if they transfer coverage to the rental car.
Does United Nissan rent additional equipment such as child safety seats or roof rails?
Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to rent additional vehicle equipment.
Reservations
Is a car rental deposit required?
Yes. For standard reservations, a $200 deposit is required. However, if you're renting a vehicle due to your car undergoing service, the deposit rates are reduced but vary depending on the length of reservation.
How do I change or cancel my reservation?
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please call us at your earliest convenience at (702)207-8016.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept valid credit or debit cards only. Pre-paid cards and money orders are not accepted. While cash is an option during vehicle return, we kindly ask that it be in the exact amount. It's important to note that a valid credit or debit card is necessary for the rental deposit and any potential additional charges that may arise.
Will there be an additional charge if I am late returning my rental car?
Good news! We provide a one-hour grace period starting from the time of vehicle pickup. Beyond this window, an additional day's charge will apply and additional fees may apply based on market or availability.
Do I need to re-fuel my vehicle or can I pre-pay for fuel?
We kindly request that the vehicle is returned with the same fuel level as it had at the time of pick-up. If needed, we offer a refueling service at $10 per gallon upon return.
Am I allowed to take my rental vehicle into a bordering country such as Mexico or Canada?
Our rental vehicles are limited to travel within the states of Nevada, California, Utah, and Arizona.
